Q: Who are the Nor'Easter Stingers?
A: The Nor'Easter Stingers are one of  the top competitive youth soccer academies in Southeastern MA and Rhode Island for boys and girls ages U10 - U18. Our philosophy is to focus on the development of players both on and off the field.

The Nor'Easter Stingers are a non-profit charitable (501(c)(3) corporation.

Q: What Leagues do the Nor'Easter Stingers participate in?
A: The Nor'Easter Stingers participate in both the MAPLE (Massachusetts Premier Soccer League) and MASC (Massachusetts Soccer Conference).

Q: How often does a team practice & play?
A: All teams will practice two times per week beginning in August and play a game every Sunday.

During the fall, U10 - U14 teams, play 9 season games plus any qualifying tournaments they may have to enter. The regular season runs from September to mid November.

During the winter season all teams (U10 - U18) will practice 1 to 2 times per week and/or play a competitive session of either futsal or indoor soccer.

During the spring, U10 - U18 teams, play 7 season games plus any qualifying tournaments they may have to enter.  

Q: What is the cost to play for the Nor'Easter Stingers?
A: The fees for the 2007 - 2008 season for the Nor'Easter Stingers is as follows and can be paid in in several installments over the course of the year. The fee includes everything but the uniform.

U10 - U14 - $885
U15 - U18 - $600

The fee includes: Fall and Spring League Fees, Coaching, Indoor Rental and Competitive Sessions and Tournaments.

Q: Do the Nor'Easter Stingers offer scholarships?
A: As it is our philosophy not to turn away players for the sake of their financial status, we do offer a scholarship program. Scholarships are awarded based on need - not ability.

Q: How do I get to the practice fields?
A: On our main navigation list to the left there is a Field Directions link which will give you directions to our most common fields and has links to Maple and MASC website to all other field directions.

Q: How does my child tryout for the Nor'Easter Stingers?
A: Before your child tryouts for the Nor'Easter Stingers, please be sure that you and your child are aware of the commitment to the Club and Team. When you commit to the Nor'Easter Stingers - it is a whole year commitment.

If your child would still like to tryout for the Nor'Easter Stingers, our annual tryouts are held in June. However, during the season, if a particular team has spots open - tryouts are held during the team's practice time.
